Civil War Generals acquired its name from the original use of the Generals portrait which was to continue developing the Robot. However, during the weeks of investigation and production the recognizable portrait would transmute then reset transmute then reset.. The success of the C.W.G. Series is being able to contextualize the visual progression of the entire thing and to decipher its remnants with the knowledge of the entire history.
