Throughout my career at intermittent points, the Bazooka series is reinvestigated. It presents an opportunity to use any newly discovered visual vocabulary outside of the discovery source (the intermittent series) since Bazooka was last examined.

The top priority is finding the current packaging for Bazooka The larger box that had been used several times was not found in local stores … at all. Rather Bazooklets a pocket-sized box was everywhere. So, this iteration features this.
Normally Bazooka is revisited after a series end… during the intermission as a way to see if I can glean another direction from relitigating this long running series. Bazooklets happened about halfway through the Napoleon Trump Washington (NTW) series.

The goal was to use this quick, short series to recalculate the framework of the NTW versions of Napoleon Nixon, the Silver foiled 1776 and the comedy arrow gag. The diagonals of the logo suggested a coffin shape, so I changed the packaging. The other point of interest is the oil-stained outline which creates a sort of 70’s cascading shapes effect. I like what was produced here but it did not influence the NTW series at all.
