To continue practicing design layouts, in this class I put together a mock brochure that featured a biography of the Spanish artist Joan Miro and several pieces of his art that were to be put on auction at a gallery. The class was provided the text and art pieces and the challenge was to put it all together in an interesting way. I selected a double gatefold brochure, because I loved how each time the brochure was opened, new information revealed itself. The first spread was the biography itself and the final spread showcased all the beautiful pieces of art that were up for sale.
