LIMBO Point and Click game 
In this project the aim was to create a point and click game based of the indie game ‘LIMBO.’ LIMBO is an action packed, puzzle game entailing the adventure a little boy goes on to find his sister. To start this project, I created a point and click game on power point based of Aesop’s Fables to get the gist of what a point and click game is. I then started my research on LIMBO and the type of game I would be creating as well as other point and click games like ‘Five Nights at Freddie's 2’. Then, I thought up my story line and turned that into flash cards to evaluate my game to see how well it would work in action. With the feedback I made any changes I needed to make and then proceeded to create my backgrounds and then put these into Game maker 2 where I would bring my story to life with code.
This is my LIMBO story line that I have planned out. This will help me to start planning out characters and settings for my point and click game. I used Visio to create my stem diagram and I consciously tried to make my story a bit on the simpler side to make the coding id have to do in the future less complicated. I decided to dissect my stem diagram into sections and give each section a room (environment) which I will later programme into Game maker two. I decided to reuse one of my environments a few times to save time in the future, so I do not have to design as many backgrounds.
These are all my backgrounds as well as my menu screen for my game. I decided to call it OBLIVION as it is a synonym for LIMBO and my game is supposed to be a sequel. All my backgrounds were created in Photoshop.
Above are my designs for my main character and a snail the little boy can potentially befriend along the way.
Above are my designs for my collectables in the game. They don't exactly fit in with the art style but I thought it would help them to stand out so people would notice them in front of the silhouetted backgrounds.
