Here in this Georgia Film Academy test clip, we study three point lighting and film techniques such as the poor man's process to create the illusion of a car ride. Dark blues and purples create the perfect atmosphere for a night drive.
The audio and video between the speaker and film clips are separated and stitched back together with basic editing to create a coherent YouTube commentary video comparing French films to that of American ones.

Here, we've chosen how to light our subject, how we want the shot to look, and set out a green screen to create the illusion that he is stories off of the ground. As convincing as it is, he is safe.
During GFA's 2023 summer program, I had the pleasure of directing parts of this short film and working with a foreign script. Breaking down the script, planning shots for the script, and having it come to life only propelled me to keep creating.
