The Communicator is the part of a huge project where we explore an alternative way of communication. This communication is based on simple light and sound encoding. 

We got 9 combinations for constructing a dialogue between two survivors. The Survivors is an ideological group that preppered for an Apocalypsis with DIY-equipment and energy source. They will use this means of communication in the post-electrical world.

In this project we used solar pannels as an alternative power source to obtain energy for Arduino. Two ultrasonic sensors detect distance of the hands, encode it to signals to flick with diods and sound.
