The four coloured BIC pen, a relic of French design, has accompanied hundreds of thousands of students since its creation in the 1970s.
Deep inside its pencil case, lost in a constellation of erasers, pencil shavings, ink cartridges and a few rogue paper clips here it lies, strong and timeless, floating through time and space and giving life to our imagination and dreams.
