Mumbai Cha VADAPAV

SUBJECT: MUMBAI'S VADAPAV

Brief: Mumbai, often referred to as the City of Dreams,' is a melting pot of cultures, traditions, and cuisines. Among the myriad flavours that define the city's culinary landscape, one iconic dish stands out - the humble yet beloved Vada Pav. This street food delicacy has not only captured the hearts of Mumbaikars, but has become an integral part of the city's identity. In this project, we dive into the strong connection between Mumbai and its iconic Vada Pav, exploring its famous stalls, their legacy, and the profound contribution to this quintessential Mumbai meal.

Concept: The project centers around illustrating a series of comic style panels, each capturing the essence of Mumbai's famous Vada Pav stalls that have been serving this delectable snack for generations. The heart of the project lies in the comic-style illustrations. Each stall's story will unfold through a series of vibrant, expressive panels that depict scenes from the bustling streets of Mumbai, capturing the interactions, laughter, and joy that Vada Pav stalls bring to the lives of Mumbaikars. The illustration will not only be functional but also artistically woven into the typography and photography, blending seamlessly with the urban backdrop of Mumbai's streets. The fonts, colors, and layout will capture the dynamic spirit of the city and the stalls.
