This was a request from specific department within a military unit to redesign their emblem. Military emblems/patches differ from logos in that they do not need to follow any particular style guide or have any real brand consistency. This results in department leaders to opt for free-reign in terms of what they're designs require. Above is a series of options for a department that primarily deals with in instructional services.
