Elementarz feminizmu - Alphabet book of feminism

The Alphabet book of feminism was written and designed as a part of my graphic design diploma. It consists of 25 phrases and their respective designs. The concept was simple - each letter of alphabet has a corresponding word and description. Each phrase has its own spread based on the same scheme - typographic vector illustration paired with the description on the neighbouring page. Apart from that special pages were made - spreads with quotes from well-known feminists, list of contents etc.
Cover of the book was a minimalist design with a symbol in the middle. It was made of two sheets of coloured paper - red and yellow, in the scheme of the whole book. The outer, red part of the cover has a cutout of the symbol, creating a dimensional effect.
The book was printed on Freelife velum white 100g paper
Fonts used: Termina, Panchang Variable
Some of the illustrations created for different phrases. All are based on Panchang Variable font - the letter is paired with vector elements. The same set of vector illustrations was used through the whole book design - also in the background illustrations by the paragraphs.
