San Firenze
ABF (Florence)

I’m finally able to post one of my latest works. It’s an illustration created to support the work of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation. I chose to dedicate this piece to the San Firenze complex, the headquarters of the Foundation. My goal was to capture the historical essence of this place while also looking towards the future.

The Baroque facade of the building, embellished with refined architectural details, conveys a sense of grandeur. To honor the Foundation’s mission of “empowering people and communities,” I included both the heraldic symbols of the building - HEART, LILY, and STARS - and icons representing design, innovation, and authenticity:

● The rainbow represents a bridge between dreams and reality.
● The compass indicates the direction and accompanies the journey of Fondazione Andrea Bocelli in the world.
● The light bulb symbolizes innovation, inventiveness, and the positive energy that it promotes.
● The eye is a symbol of vision, but also of the Foundation’s ability to plan.
● The diamond represents the value of the work done to help people in difficult situations.
● And the musical notes because music has always permeated the very DNA of ABF.

This work invites reflection on the link between past and present, paying homage to the heritage of San Firenze, Florence, and Fondazione Andrea Bocelli.

A special thanks to all the members of the Foundation for always believing in my work and to Uaoh Unconventional Creative Studio Osimo for their collaboration and support.
