My art is inspired amateur, as my only classical training was an introductory course in college. Featured at the Final Fantasy XI Fan Art Contest, my work "Moogle Gardener" was displayed in the top 20 in Hollywood for voting. Aside from a few freelance projects, contests, and website filler, I am a new artist looking to find a niche.
My favorite medium is ball-point pen, oddly enough, I enjoy the firm sharp edge of the pen. The "Azure Harp" was drawn with ball-point exclusively. "Tending the Garden" is an example of my graphite work with resin and charcoal touches. "Coincidentia Oppositorum" is pen & ink. The lighting effects in some of my final works are rendered in Bryce, touched up in Photoshop.
My method of surrealism is to think on emptiness and elementals, then to let the moment create the art. My best works start off as scribbles and turn into fantasy. My point perspectives are often psychadelic, attempting to show invisible forces, such as wind or thought.
Optimally, I would like to work with a team of artists whom could take my dreams and refine them into more aesthetically pleasing artwork or multimedia. I love creating new art, but get generally annoyed coloring in-between the lines of old art.
