Remember You - Emma Plimmer

My photobook features a mixture of landscape and portrait, and black and white images as well as coloured images. It is a collection of snapshots taken around my Grandad's house as we were clearing it out after his passing. This photobook serves as a beautiful way to remember the place I spent so much time in, and a way to reminisce on memories made in these places. This place was home for my Grandad and you can see that in these images, his personality and interests present throughout all the pictures. This ties in with the overall theme of home and memories that my project aimed for.

I am really happy with my final outcome, I think conveys the message I wanted and I think I placed the photos together in a way that they compliment each other. I also think the composition of the book and the choices made for the paper also added to the final product. The consistent colour palette and the atmosphere created with the lighting in each image made a really nice visual aesthetic that was continued throughout the book which tied it all together.
