Tumbleweed

I wanted to share Izabela's story of hope and resilience. Born in Poland, she was removed from her biological parents when she was five and spent her childhood in an orphanage, later moving to a foster family. At a young age, as a single mother herself, she moved to the UK, hoping to find a better life. However, the reality was much more challenging than expected. She had to juggle work, childcare, and household responsibilities without the support of a partner. She became both fragile and strong, feminine and tough at the same time.

Living in a foreign country in a rented flat bears all the signs of temporariness. Like a tumbleweed, having no roots means she is ready to move on at any time; on the other hand, she has the courage to pursue her dreams and continues to hope for better.
