Seven Seven is a streetwear brand based in Portland, OR, inspired by the city’s first major professional sports championship and its enduring impact on local culture. In Portland, sports not only unite people but also foster passionate communities. Founded by individuals deeply ingrained in these communities, Seven Seven aims to create streetwear apparel that celebrates the city's unique culture and the passionate individuals who have shaped Portland into a distinctive place. As the company has grown, it has sought to collaborate exclusively with those who share the same passion for their respective communities.
As a local streetwear brand, Seven Seven distinguishes itself through meticulous attention to detail. All aspects of production, including printing, embroidery, sewing, and finishing touches, are meticulously carried out in Portland. This commitment ensures high standards for quality control.
Branding
The branding of Seven Seven adopts a modern interpretation of the round and bold style popular in the 1970s. A completely custom logotype was crafted with this vision in mind. The letters possess a rounded and bold aesthetic, characterized by clean modern lines rather than a chunky script style. To further contemporize the branding, the logotype was split in half and shifted to symbolize forward progress. This shift reveals two sevens in the middle of the logotype, which are then incorporated as a logomark.
