This project was for my Communication Design class. It was focused on creating a concept for TCC’s 340 Art and Design Annual magazine. I worked with a group to create these spreads. The main theme used was riso printing, celebration, and the city of Norfolk. It was the 25th edition and the first one to be created in the VADC, which is why it is based on views of Norfolk surrounding the VADC. Every detail was carefully thought out from the color choices to the paper type and binding.
This section of the book would give first time readers an understanding of the history of TCC’s art department and the magazine.
This spread shows a classic Norfolk sight, The Tide. We wanted each section of the book to have full image intro pages while also color coding each respective category.
