Designing a Personalized Wallet
Project Goal: Designing a wallet that perfectly caters to the needs, preferences, and lifestyle of a specific user.
Target User: Meghna Pal; Methodology: Empathy Mapping: Through in-depth interviews, I created an empathy map to understand the user's: Says: Verbal expressions about their current wallet, preferences, and frustrations. Does: Observed behaviours regarding wallet usage, carrying habits, and organization methods. Thinks: Unvoiced thoughts and concerns about wallets, functionality, and style. Feels: Emotions associated with their current wallet, including satisfaction, frustration, or insecurity.
Mood Board Creation: Based on the empathy map, a mood board developed to visually represent the Meghna's:
Style: Preferred aesthetics including colours, textures, and finishes. Lifestyle: Activities and needs that influence the wallet's functionality. Personality: Traits reflected through design choices, like minimalism or adventurousness.
Design Iteration: Using the empathy map and mood board as a foundation, iterated on different wallet designs, incorporating feedback from the user throughout the process.
Final Wallet Design: A comprehensive sketch or prototype of the wallet, incorporating user feedback.
