Sharing knowledge through design while making it fun : that was my mission during my 23-24 apprenticeship at YA+K !
YA+K's mission is to help business and people to work together in the best way possible with the benefits of collective intelligence. By joining their courses or playing their games, YA+K share their knowledge and experience for all types of projects. To have a bigger impact, they share a lot of free ressources on their website.
Playful and caring, YA+K has a modern and colorful identity that reflects their values.
During this year, I had the position of a Junior Artistic Director / Graphist / Community Manager.
ARTISTIC DIRECTION
I had the opportunity to imagine and create the entire visual identity of a card game used during courses.
Ma vie de facilitateur is a game to develop one's ability to adapt.
For my moodboard, I had to keep in mind that this game take place in the concept of Facilitation City. Created by YA+K, Facilitation City is a sort of personnification of facilitation by a city, which each neighborhood represents a step of the facilitation process.
After I brainstormed, I worked on the visuals elements and how to create an efficient hierarchy on the cards. The colors are inspired by the neighborhoods of Facilitation City, and the pictograms represents the tools and relative things to each neighborhoods.
The logo combines all of these elements.
I created the templates of the cards on Illustrator, to importe them on InDesign and implement the content.
I also worked on a case for future versions. I prototyped it to have a better understanding of the outcome.
We printed a first version which is going to be used in a course soon !
COMMUNICATION
To communicate on our free ressources, new articles or behind the scenes... I was in charge of creating engaging and playful content to grow their already existent community. I often challenged myself to use gamification or surfing on trends to make quality content.
My manager created the agenda with all the content so I could concentrate on the graphic design. Sometimes, she'd let me take the lead to propose content ideas or writing the content of the posts.

Artistic direction and content creation for social medias were my main missions, however, I had the opportunity to work on several projects such as creating a gazette, designing on the website, creating playful supports... I learned a lot during this year !
