Shots from an extended trip to the Himalayas in Ladakh, Northern India. Project's purpose was to provide insight into an ancient region facing rapid culture collapse due to the opening of a mountain road to cargo truck traffic. The road and eventual airport base brought with it immediate wealth, yet resulted in degradation of sustainable family communities, created waste management problems, and fueled the gap between social classes.
