Antípoda
La primera vez que escuché a Antípoda tenía 14 años. Vivía en Cartagena y como no tenía internet en ese momento, me pegaba a Radiónica para buscar bandas que pudieran guiarme en el camino musical que apenas arrancaba. Su sonido me voló la cabeza. Su voz es compleja, emotiva, llena de matices. Se salen de lo obvio.
Hoy, a mis 34 años, me sigue llenando y emocionando como cuando era niño.
Qué bacano conocerlos y fotografiarlos. Fue el joven de 14 años el que se enganchó la cámara al hombro ese día en el toque. Espero seguir escuchando su música en los días venideros.
Larga vida a esta banda, muy seguro de que se trata de las mejores del continente.

The first time I heard Antípoda, I was around 14 years old. I was living in Cartagena, and since I didn't have internet at that time, I would tune into Radiónica to discover bands that could guide me on my budding musical journey. Their sound blew my mind. Their voice is complex, emotional, full of nuances. They stand out from the obvious.
Today, at 34, they still fill me with excitement and emotion just like when I was a kid.
It's so cool to meet them and photograph them. It was the 14-year-old me who strapped the camera to his shoulder that day at the gig. I hope to keep listening to their music in the days to come.
Long live this band, I'm pretty sure they're one of the best in the damn continent.
