Poster & Social Media Project
In ARTS 222, I was tasked with creating a poster and three social media designs advertising an event of my choice. My project is based on a Worship Night event for a band of a family friend called Follow. The band's key verse is Matthew 4:19 "And he said to them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." This is where I generated the idea of creating a graphic centered around the idea of the disciples and Jesus on a boat catching fish. I envisioned blues because of the water and sky within my design as well as a pop of orange for the fish and name of the band. These hues work well together because they are complementary colors. Throughout my project, I wanted to keep a simple and minimalistic look while also being eye-catching through colors and fonts.
