''Naim Süleymanoğlu is remembered not only for his sporting achievements but also for his struggle against oppression, repression, and injustice. During competitions, he entered the weights with all his mental and physical strength, while throughout his life, he carried the rebellion of thousands of people who were oppressed and unheard under authority with great responsibility. The design of the eternal resting place of the tomb owner, who spent his entire life under this "weight," being based on "lightness" was appreciated by the jury. The design was deemed worthy of the award due to its relationship with its surroundings, the integrity and simplicity of the overall design language, and the proposed materials and construction techniques establishing a deep conceptual connection with the identity and memory of the tomb owner.''
