Ms. Williams showed me a prototype I then used this idea to create something that resembled the beauty of life. I then sketched two sketches one of a sunflower and one of a butterfly. After making my sketches I used playdoh to create my first prototypes. Lastly I was given foam clay I then molded my foam clay over three days. The first step in creating my project was molding the foam clay into a body shape and a head shape out of brown foam clay. Secondly I molded four wings two larger ones and two smaller ones out of yellow foam clay. I then mixed some brown and black into the wings to give it a unique characteristic. I then created four smaller teardrop shapes out of black foam clay to give the butterfly more detail. Lastly I glued everything together, created my background, and gave my butterfly two antennas.
