POSTER & SOCIAL MEDIA PROJECT:

The prompt for this project was: "You are to create a poster and coordinating social media for an event of your choice." 

This one was hard to tackle, in terms of creativity, I had to decide what I wanted to make, how to make three other images to follow it. I decided on chess, I could have a focal point, depth, hierarchy, contrast, repetition, thought out proximity, and alignment. 

How I implemented them:

Focal point: King chess piece.

Depth: Shadows belonging to the chess board.

Hierarchy: Text sizes and how they are placed from top to bottom.

Contrast: White highlights, dark background, white chess piece.

Repetition: Same fonts, underlying theme (chessboard).

Proximity: Placement of text, illustrations, and negative space.

Alightment: Right alignment throughout the poster, right, center, and left alignment in the carousel.
