Poster & Social Media Project
We were assigned to create an event poster that has a clear concept and audience while still capturing their attention. I created an event poster for Bloom Fest because I was inspired by spring concert art. The theme was supported by my pastel color palette and typography formed in Adobe Illustrator. In addition, the sizing and coloring establishes hierarchy with all text elements.
Additionally, we were required to design three Instagram posts maintaining consistency with the poster. Without being an exact copy, we ere asked to make more advertising designs to support the event. I achieved this through my posts through creating a Instagram carousel connecting with the posters color palette, typography, and illustrated elements. We were encouraged to think past the conventional ideas, and search for more creative concepts in our design process.
