ICEBERG Display Typeface
"Iceberg" envisions a sci-fi display typeface. Imagine a bold, semi-condensed sans-serif type with fierce, with sharp edged letterforms that cut like a knife throught the screen. Inspired by sleek video games and gritty cyberpunk elements, it merges modern elegance with a lived-in feel; while jagged glyphs add bite without sacrificing readability. As an all uppercase type, each character has its own personality: think Tron meets Blade Runner, but edgier. This typeface will boldly declare your message with a futuristic edge.
This was a classroom project undertaken during Ocotber last year, where Asimbon and I deciced to create our own separate sets of futuristic typepaces along similar thematic lines, drawing inspiration from our love for video games, big, blocky fonts, and cyperpunk anime.
