For this project, I was tasked with creating a replica portrait of my own favorite artist's work. This project didn't have many restrictions, and I was able to design anything that I would like as long as I incorporated the artist's style into my piece. Long story short, I wanted to do something that involved a lot of abstract drawing since the artist Jean Michel-Basquiat does that often inside his portraits. I wanted to do something creative and abstract like Jean, but add a bit of a twist to it to make it draw out further and not clone exactly what Jean does. I decided to add various colors, distinctive textures, and abnormal drawings, which is where I am now with the outcome.
