This project proposal was created for the RSA Student Design Awards. I decided to take part in the ‘Planet Generation’ brief, which prompted us to design joyful, place-based opportunities that build cross-generational solidarity through meaningful connections, ultimately improving planetary health. This is when the ‘Friends in Time’ initiative was created. The core objective of this project is to relieve social isolation and loneliness among the elderly and students by offering different social programs in which they can take part, resulting in benefits for both target groups.
