As a part of our academic curriculum, We were tasked with choosing any media (film, book, show, album, play) then using a font for said media's title and further stylising the font- merging two fonts while following the rules of typography or using glyphs. Then making a Poster & Leaflet and finally creating a title/credits sequence. I chose the film 'The Wonder (2022)' by Sebastian Lelio Starring Florence Pugh. The film was still fresh in my memory and the dark and heavy theme along with the brilliant way in which the mindset and the belief system of the women was shown - I thought what visual language, image treatment, credit sequence should complement it?

I was looking into the fonts used back in 1860s, the decorative ones, the ones used in church documents (given the narrative of the film) and otherwise in books- with an olden feel to it. Starting from Blackletter I came a long way looking for fonts which have a feminine, modern, decorative and mysterious feel to them. these are some of the fonts I shortlisted and the one I finally chose
