The old classroom UI which included 10 sub pages of options and control, a disjointed set of icons and a mismatch color palette.
The UI redesign. I condensed all of the controls down to a single page environment and identified a theme using the UNH brand colors. Navigation is driven be a set of unique icons.
Interactivity is determined by a 3 state btn, Inactive, dark blue background is unselectable, Active, vertical blue gradient are selectable buttons, and Selected, gradient surrounded by a white outline refers to the currently selected source.
Each source produces a unique notification pop up which will direct the user to choose how they want to set up their presentation and it will also inform them if a source is unavailable or has lost connection.
Sources that require additional control will appear with a pop up control page to limit the need for external controllers while still allowing the user access to crucial system controls like, lighting volume and source selection.
