Legacy Coalition—a non-profit focused on equipping Christian grandparents to be intentional in their grandkids lives—had a vision to create a planner specifically designed for grandparents. The product was to include essential components of a planner such as a calendar and space for to-do lists. But beyond the basics, they wanted to include sections to write prayer requests and answered prayer, Bible verses, blessings, monthly activity ideas, and more.

Throughout the brainstorming, research and development process, I focused on understanding and addressing the real felt needs of the grandparents it was intended for in a way that maintained brand integrity and generated a stronger affinity between Legacy Coalition’s audience and their mission and goals.The unique color palette for each month and custom pattern were created to reflect the color blocking motifs used in Legacy Coalition’s branding. This application created a playful and cohesive look throughout the planner. 

The result was a high-quality, eye-catching product that met the client's vision and goals.The success of the 2023 Planner, lead to the creation of the 2024 Planner.
