This piece was created for an assignment where the objective was to create a collaged portrait using Photoshop. Students could use filters, brushes, stock images, photgraphs they took themselves, and more. The portrait could either tell a story or be presented in a creative and artistic style. The portrait photograph had to have been taken by the student with a DSLR camera.

For this project, I took a self portrait photograph. I wanted to have some abstract elements, so I added the eyes and mouths. A watery texture was placed over my portrait to add to the underwater vibe. I also wanted some subtle symbolism, such as the eyes representing feeling watched.
