Sandhi - Collection of Organza Saris

Project Brief :
To create a collection of saris that are suitable for casual, summer wear. Each piece should be elegant, breezy and playful, to appeal to a relatively younger audience as well.
Colour Palette
Since this was meant to be a summer release, each piece should be light and wearable, thus we chose to work with handwoven organza (kora). I wanted each piece to exude a sense of rejuvenation and light - heartedness, thus I decided to work with the given colour palette, keep the designs minimal but very mindfully composed. For the design compositions I took inspiration from the way in which Mondrian used lines, squares and rectangles in his compositions.
Compositions by Piet Mondrian
