This book is a transcript compiled from a debate between Wim Crouwel and Jan van Toorn that took place at the Fodor Museum in 1972. Both designers are iconic figures in the Netherlands, with Wim Crouwel embracing minimalism and functionality through modernist design, while Jan van Toorn demonstrated an experimental and critical approach that transcends traditional boundaries through postmodernist design.

Wim Crouwel's designs adhere to the functional and structural principles of modernism. In this context, by integrating with the digital tool 'Excel', it aimed to explore how the principles of modernist design could harmonize with contemporary digital tools. The design of this publication was created exclusively in Excel and produced using a 'two-color printing technique'.
