Design Brief:
Quiring and Boudreau is a small tax accounting firm, looking for a new logo to accomodate their recent name change. I was given the task of designing and developing and mark that would would be simple, clever, and represent their brand well. My design originated from the mirror effect that happens when you you but a lowercase q next to a lowercase b. From there it underwent many stype changes. I also added a modulated stroke to make the logo a bit more active and also seem more elegant. This principle reflects the work ethic and efficiency of the company. The typeface mimicks the swooshing natureof the logo, and gives it the traditional feel you'd see from a credited financial comany.
