Cover Designs for Indie Musicians

I've always loved being involved with music visual design, whether local acts or international stars. Music is indeed universal--but music should be seen to get you heard!

Since the nineties, I've worked with many of the local music indie artists in the Philly scene. I've designed CD covers for Planet 10 and Lindsay Gilmour and Jim Fogarty. I then designed the CD for Philly legend Kenn Kweder (and since then many of his famous calendars!) and so word spread. I was able to work with Philladelphia's preeminent artist manager Bill Eib, designing a CD for his client, singer Iota. In 1994, I met Record Cellar Record's owner Neil Drucker. I was fortunate to design most of the early CDs that Neil put out on his label including Buzz Zeemer's Play Thing (with Tommy Conwell), John Train's Angels Turned Thieves, Rolling Hayseeds Tangled up in You, as well as Musical Chairs by Naplam Sunday, Famous by Emily Valentine, and Fidelity by The Low Road.

Since then, my talents have been at use at Collectables Records. But recently, I've been back designing for local artists.I was able to design the CD package for Skip Denenberg as well as Melissa Martin & The Mighty Rhythm Kings and The Rockafillys (whose website I designed, which you can see at www.therockafillys.com )

I am currently looking for more opportunities to work with indie musicians so …your music will be seen to get you heard!
