This short experiment was an assignment to explore music through motion graphics. Using After Effects, I paired the motion of the falling rain drops to the music of Debussy. I wanted to convey a feeling of gentleness and tranquility, which are the emotions I feel when I think about falling rain drops. Since I was previously unfamiliar with AE before this class, getting the timing right required a lot of tweaking. It was a fun project though, and I feel it was successful because the end result conveyed the exact sentiment that I was aiming for. Please be sure to turn your speakers up!
