For Light Color Design (LCD), we were given a gessoed board and each week we were given an assignment that gave constraints on what you were allowed to paint. The next class we would critique the work and each student would choose a different board then their own for the next assignment. These were the results.
Each board was laid in a large rectangle, side by side, and large blue lines were painted across them. The assignment was to choose one and incorperate the lines in the finished piece somehow.
