This finalist proposal for a Memorial suggests the landscapes of battle---perilous territories claimed---with structures that symbolize unity and vulnerability. As water flows over the edge, it creates an emotional veil through which we experience personal connections and grief---My Family, My Friend, My Neighbor.
To be constructed of machined stainless steel, aluminum forms, sand-blasted inscriptions, LED illumination.
