Positivity is an overrated notion. One cannot escape, it seems, from the constant desire to lean towards optimism and wishful thinking as a safe guard from truth. Yet, despite, and sometimes because of, our desires, entropy, in the guise of the passage of time, leaves its toll on every living and nonliving thing, shifting realism closer to pessimism, and rendering reality more of a dystopia.
