I had the pleasure of working with Sporting Kansas City as their graphic designer. Day to day projects were fairly small-scale (emails, social media graphics, marketing materials, etc.). The larger projects are featured below. Enjoy!
BOULEVARD CANVAS PRINTS --------
Sporting Kansas City paired up with Boulevard Brewing and Central States Brewing to create large limited edition canvas prints used mainly for fundraising and fan engagement. The first of the below prints debuted prior to the MLS Championship game and the second after that championship was won.
SPORTING BLEND COFFEE --------
To commemorate the MLS Championship win, Sporting KC partnered with the Roasterie to create a championship blend. Finally, a project that incorporated my deep passion for caffienated beverages! Label design work was up to me, and I had an absolute blast.
THE VICTORY PROJECT BRANDING --------
The Victory Project is the foundation arm of Sporting Club. In their first year, Victory Project focused on children battling cancer, but found that a path towards benefitting all children facing multiple types of challenges would be a more effective and helpful route for the community. This meant rebranding was in order. The main challenges were to create a logo that ties in the Victory Project's connection with Sporting Club while also differentiating it from Sporting Kansas City. This logo is intended for use big and small, so a mark that's noticible in varying sizes was crucial.
