Medium: Clay and glaze
To make my teapot, I started by making a coil pot. After I got the round shape I needed, I smoothed it out and went from there. I did whatever I fet would look better at the time. I'm now in the process of glazing, and will be referencing pictures of eyeballs to make it look realistic.
element and principles
In my work i used a lot of the elements and principles. I used line throughout the whole piece, and the thing itself is a form. I'm currently in the process of using color. I used proportion even though it isn't correct. I also have balance with thnings sticking out from both sides. The emphasis of my piece will be the iris of the eye. Finally I used unity to tie the whole thing together to make it acrually look like an eye.

For my project, I'm not really trying to communicate much. I wanted to make an eyeball teapot, so i did. The only thing that i'm trying to really show is that i think eyeballs are pretty cool and weird things can look nice.
When someone looks at my work, I don't mind how it makes them feel. Some people might like it, while others will feel uncomfortable. I'm going to show this to everyone I know who hates eyeballs. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion and even though i would rather them like it than hate it, i dont mind if they do.
Since I don't mind how people feel about my work, I accomplished making people feel the way I want them to. Everyone has opinions and I'm cool with that.
