This is street art.
Signs are authoritative and are in a way an exercise of government power on people. While this exercise of power may be necessary I do not believe that I am reinforcing this because what I am doing is undeniably illegal.
Instead I am trying to better the community I live in and by doing so encourage others to do so as well.
I am not an outsider coming into a broken town feeling sympathy.
I am a citizen trying to enhance my own quality of life and the quality of lives of others.
This is a job that should be handled by the city.
