I was required to create a sketchbook which consists of 1 sketch a day over a period of 15 days, depending on the mood, thinking pattern, inspiration and daily interaction. My concept centred around looking at African inspirations and drawing from those. I have a deep interest in African aesthetics and styles, therefore tried to make my sketchbook as a loose celebration of African-ness. I used fineliners and quink ink to illustrate my sketches.
