Cancer is a strong word that affects more people than we would like. In one of the paintings it is the story of a dear friend who has battled cancer more than once and is in her early 20's. She courageously shared her story in hopes of creating awareness for Brain Cancer; She hopes for there to be an equal awareness among all Cancers.  In the other paintings, there are interviews from various people. Together with people's reactions of what it was like when you first heard your loved one has cancer. How do you cope? What did it feel like? How do you grow? What do you hope for?
