The Lord's Prayer; Our Father in Heaven
Completed during my second year at university, as one of five illustration projects for the semester, these pieces were created using encaustic art techniques. It's an art form that is hard to control and create detail with, requiring encaustic wax, which is often manipulated and spread over glossy paper, using special irons and styluses.
I designed characters to represent each of the deadly sins and each of the heavenly virtues, designing multiple compositions that represented lost children, searching for the right path to their father.
