The aim of the brief was to gather a complete knowledge about one single thing and make that accessible for the public in the form of either a book, magazine or digital presence. You could choose one thing, object word, term- whatever you desired.

 

As much knowledge as possible was gathered about the human brain and then a book with 3 sections was created. The aim of the book was to show that the Left Brain- Right Brain theory is in fact a myth.

The cover of the book was kept simple, yet interesting by including a paper technique where the top section could be lifted to reveal the diagram of the brain. A simple font was used throughout the book.

The first section of the book is about science. It includes all the scientific information that was  found. 

This section of the book was kept black and white to create a very simple, scientific feel.

This was the last “chapter” of the science section. It started by introducing the idea that there is 

an ongoing war between the brains.

The book then flips over to reveal the Left vs Right brain

 

Throughout the Left vs Right Brain section brighter colours are used for the right side and the left side is black and white.

This spread showed the difference between the left brained thinkers and the right brain thinkers

and how they see things. The Left Brain shows that they think about all the details and the 

Right shows that they can see the bigger picture. I made an illusion here which would teach the 

Left Brained to take a step back and see the bigger picture.
