Cold Stream Creek, North Lake, Bishop. Sep 30, 2014 @ 10:07

This was my second time to be here at North Lake, and the fall colors were really amazing. So I decided to stay here for the night at North Lake Campground. Streaming water creeks were on both side of the road, and this was one of them.

I wasn't prepared for the night here at North Lake. With this high elevation, the night was freezing and this morning was really cold. I came to this spot early before first light, but I was not alone. There was a group of photographers with a tour guide got there first. The sky was gray, no clouds, and really cold. One of the photographer said to me that he was really disappointed with the weather for the past couple of days and certainly the same again. And I felt the same, thinking that there's nothing gonna happen here. While we were having conversation for about 10 mins, things started to look better all of a sudden. As soon as the sun rised, clouds started to cleared up and than it was like MAGIC. North Lake started to look so amazing, at least that's how I felt. I like how the light spreaded across the mountains with the reflection from the lake,  make this image so much better.
