Before anyone makes any quick assumptions, electronic music is not as simple as appeared at first glance. However, just as recording acoustic music requires knowledge in music theory, so does electronic music. An important attribute to electronic music is a strong beat and rhythm. Add a simple chord progression and, wa-la! most of the track is complete. Yet, after a few measures, the song begins to sound repetitive. This was a difficult task to hurtle, for in acoustic music, the dynamics and tone can be changed instantaneously while playing. The difficulty when preforming this task is that these essential factors must be layered in... and added... one at a time. One of the most important skill for creating electronic music is the ability to be able to hear exactly how the final track will sound and knowing how to make that sound come true.
