Absence - 24x48, oil on canvas. My first attempt at figurative painting and probably my 7th painting since starting painting. The model and her husband ended up purchasing.
Musing - 24x12, oil on canvas. My lovely bride to be.
Elena - 6x6, oil on panel. A quick study to get into the swing of figurative painting again.
Big Girl - 9x12, oil on canvas. Probably my most meaningful painting. My parents' beautiful German Shephard Sheba was fighting a losing battle with age. They had decided to end her suffering. I begged them to wait another day so I could come by and say goodbye. I took a few pictures of her and did this painting for my Dad who loved her more than words can say. I attempted a more painterly style for the first time.
Moving On - 36x24, oil on canvas. One of the early paintings and still one of my favourites.
On Display - 20x30, oil on canvas. Lots of symbolic possibilities but mainly a statement about internal beauty.
Sweetie - 12x9, oil on canvas. Get it? A christmas gift for a past girlfriend.
Together - 36x24, graphite on canvas. A reproduction of a small graphite drawing I did many years previous. It started out being the initial sketch for the underpainting but I ended up loving how the graphite blended on the canvas so I left it at that. As it turns out I think I'm going to paint over it... someday.
Waiting - 36x24, oil on canvas. My first real attempt at an oil painting.
Forget Me Not - 24x48, oil on canvas. There's always been something that's attracted me to the little broken down shacks in the middle of empty fields. They get more beautiful as they slowly decay and melt into the landscape.

Forever - 36x36, oil on canvas. The first in the pair of paintings from Spanish Banks in Vancouver. Probably my favourite landscape to date.
And Ever - 48x36, oil on canvas. The second in a pair of paintings of a view from Spanish Banks in Vancouver.
Better Days - 36x36, oil on canvas. It doesn't take too much to figure out the symbolism.
More Than a Moment - 30x48, oil on canvas. A technique experiment with style on painting long grass.
